Purified Drinking Water, Not Filtered.

Drinking water systems give you a continuous supply of sparkling clear, delicious tasting water for drinking, cooking, and other uses, right from the tap!

Reverse osmosis systems significantly reduce potentially harmful contaminants in the water you drink. Your food and mixed beverages will look and taste better. And in the long run, it saves you money vs buying bottled water of lesser or unknown quality.

Ultra fresh, delicious drinking water right at home for drinking, cooking, making coffee, tea, baby formula, serving guests, pets and providing dietary & health benefits. Yakima Water solutions can remove up to 99% of contaminants found in tap and well water with a drinking water system.

Creating truly pure, hydrating water begins with an understanding of the difference between a water filter and a water purifier.

  • A water filter is a porous substance such as activated carbon which removes sediment and unwanted substances such as harmful chemicals and toxins from our water. Although filters are valuable, by themselves they are generally inadequate for turning municipal or well water into healthy drinking water. A filter improves taste and odor and reduces the level of many chemical contaminants in drinking water but no filter or combination of filters can even come close to eliminating all the known toxins present in our water today much less the all toxins we don’t even know about yet!
  • A water purifier is defined as a system that removes up to 99% of all contaminants in water. There are three recognized purifier technologies known today: reverse-osmosis, deionization, and distillation. Because of their powerful capabilities, purifiers must form the foundation of any drinking water system to have a chance at creating truly pure water.

What is Reverse Osmosis Purification?RO-Diagram Yakima Water Solutions

First investigated as industrial desalination of seawater using semipermeable membranes at UCLA over 60 years ago, the Reverse Osmosis Process has been scaled down to modify and improve small volumes of water in the home for drinking and cooking purposes.

The water is squeezed under household water pressure through a semipermeable membrane and the treated water is stored in a special 2-3 gallon holding tank for use, while the reject water containing the unwanted substances is disposed of down the drain. In most cases a single faucet is installed at the kitchen sink and a line can be run to the ice maker/cold water dispenser on a refrigerator.

Yakima Water Solutions offers a variety of drinking water systems to meet your needs. We offer point of use reverse osmosis systems, chlorine filters, sediment filters and more. We’ll test your water and recommend solutions based on your water quality.
